Hi this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip we're going to talk about how to move your dog to a new home. Hopefully before you move to that new home what you'll do is take that dog for a nice long walk in the neighborhood. You know let them get familiar with the smells and the sounds and the sights of that neighborhood before they're thrust right into that and have to live in it. Just a good way to kind of acclimate them to the area. Then another thing is too if they did get away they'd have a sense of the area and they may not get lost. Taking them for a nice long walk or a bike ride, really drain them of their energy, drain them of any anxious energy that they might be feeling. A lot of times when they see you packing up or their normal environment is disturbed it can be stressful. So it is just another way to keep them calm while you are moving to your new place. This has been Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg of Miami Dog Training. Come on boy let's go to your new home. Good boy.
