"Hi this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip we are going to talk about how to train your puppy to stay in the yard. The best tool is a fence but if you don't have one any doorway will do so what we'll do is we'll bring him over to the doorway and allow him the opportunity to go out. If he does, no we give him a sharp correction and bring him back into the yard. Good boy. Alright we are going to provide him the opportunity again. It is always repetition with dogs. No, we give him a sharp correction, good boy. As soon as he is back in the yard we give him praise. Praise what you want and correct what you don't want. I'm going to give him an opportunity one more time. Give him the correction and praise. Good boy. It is always a good idea to practice this with your dog when you have the time when it is not in a rush. Once again this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training."
