"Hi this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip we're going to talk about house training your puppy. One way is crate training which we already discussed. The other way is paper training or wee wee pads. I'm going to use some paper as an example here, but as you can see we give the puppy a space, still a limited space but a space that the puppy can call their own, OK? And we have a bed here so we're going to put a bed in one, one place, OK? Where the puppy can be. And what we're going to do is we are going to scatter paper everywhere else. We want this whole thing covered. You get the idea, the whole thing covered except the bed. So here we are with the puppy in the designated area and I'm just going to close this off, OK? And essentially what we would want is the whole entire area covered with paper except for his bed which would be a towel or a pillow or whatever it is. And as the puppy starts leaving his bed to go to the bathroom which is a natural thing for them they would do in a den, we start removing the paper slowly but surely until we end up with just paper in one corner and a bed in another corner. This has been Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training."
