"Hi this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip we're going to talk about dog pregnancy signs and detection. Usually one of the first things you'll notice will be a decreased appetite in your dog, sometimes not all dogs will exhibit those symptoms but often they will exhibit symptoms of decreased appetite. They also sometimes will have a decreased activity level and a change in their hormones so they tend to, they can sometimes be asking for more affection or maybe decide that they don't want any affection. In any case, one of the major signs that you'll see is the nipples. Females nipples will start to get large. These are not, she's not pregnant clearly. So one of the other things you need to know about pregnancy is that your dog has to be in heat to get pregnant, it can't get pregnant all year round, it's only when they're in heat. But what we will see is her nipples growing and of course widening of the abdomen and all around change in activity levels. Once again this has been Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training."
