This is financial adviser Patrick Munro talking about what is APR for credit cards? Credit cards have become a very necessary form of survival in these new economic times. And they are a privilege to own a credit card or to be able to use a credit card. When you have a credit card, there is an interest rate charged on the charges that you are using on the card. There's two types of charges that you can have. One is for purchases of goods and services, and the other is for cash advances. If you cash advance on a credit card, it will charge a higher interest rate to the card than the purchase would. And as a result, you will pay a higher rate on your minimum payment. Always be aware of the APR, which is the approximate interest rate that is paid in a variable interest rate at that because markets constantly fluctuate. Make sure that you keep your credit in a good fashion, your credit scores a well position so that you can get the lowest interest rate or APR on your credit card.
