"You know shiny chrome can really make a car pop but over time it can lose its luster. Hi I'm Johnny with Johnny V's Mobile Detailing here in St. Petersburg, Florida and I'm going to show you how to polish chrome. The first thing you want to do is you want to get a bucket with some soap and water and get yourself your sponge or your rag or whatever you are going to lose and just wring it out nice and you are going to want to clean the area first and make sure there is no dirt or any excess anything on there like I am doing now. Now what you want to do with the chrome polish is get yourself another rag, pour a little bit into your rag about that much right there should do for a small area. O'kay you are going to want to take your chrome polish and spread it out in a small area you don't want to do a big area at one time. You want to get in as you can see and try and get all that rust that is on there off of it so you are going to have to use a bit of elbow grease. Just keep rubbing it in until you see all of the rust or whatever debris is on your chrome off. Like I said this is going to take a little bit of elbow grease so don't think it is just going to automatically come off, you are going to have to do a little bit of work. Now as you can see it is hazed up and we're going to let that set there for a couple seconds hazed up and do its job and the next thing we want to do is grab a nice clean rag down here and we're going to want to gently wipe it off and this is where the polishing action is going to happen. We are going to take a clean rag and wipe it off like so making sure all of the polish is off. Like I said we did it in one small area right here and as you can see that is shining up pretty good. O'kay now there is one final step to do and that's to take your favorite wax and make sure that it is o'kay to use it on chrome. You are going to want to take a little bit of that and put that in your rag and then wipe that on the area that you just did allowing that to haze up like so. We'll leave that on there for a couple seconds like I said to let it haze up to do its job. We will take our dry clean microfiber rag and then we will polish that right off leaving a beautiful shine as if it were a brand new bumper. Alright as you can see now that looks beautiful. Remember just soap and water, clean it off, you're going to want to make sure you dry it off real good. Get your favorite chrome polish, put the chrome polish on. You have got to use some elbow grease to get it clean and you are going to want to take after you wipe that off you want to take your favorite wax and make sure it is good for chrome and put that on and let it haze up, wipe that off and you have got yourself some beautiful shiny looking brand new chrome. That's it. My name is Johnny. I'm with Johnny V's Mobile Detailing here in St. Petersburg, Florida and that's how you polish chrome."
