"So Medicaid will cover your health insurance premiums as long as you are able to qualify for Medicaid. Now qualifying for Medicaid is based on your income. Typically you need to be very low income. It can also be based on dependents, if you have a great number of dependents, you may be eligible for Medicaid, and it could also be based on age. If you're over sixty-five you may also be eligible for Medicaid as well, and these requirements do vary greatly from state to state, so it's important to look at your individual state and...and determine whether or not you would be able to qualify for Medicaid. But when you do qualify for it, you're able to receive benefits at very little or no cost. So you go into the doctors and you may have a five dollar, ten dollar co-pay or you may, may not pay anything at all. That's sort of the nice thing about Medicaid is it basically covers everything that that could arise and it's it's very cheap as well. Five or ten dollar co-pay at the very most, often times it's nothing at all. So Medicaid will cover, completely cover your health insurance premiums, as long as you are able to qualify for Medicaid."
