How to Catch a Cheater

"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a life and relationship coach and the owner of NY Dating Coach in New York City. In this clip we'll talk about how to catch a cheater, and the first thing is to trust your instincts. If you feel like someone's cheating, they probably are. So, it can be dangerous if you try to follow them, but, if you can afford it, hire a private investigator. That's the best way, that's the way you know for sure. But if that's a little too extreme for you, then check up on them a little bit. If they say they're going somewhere, then verify that. If they used a friend as an alibi, casually call that friend and just see what's going on. And if he's home, and, you know, it didn't check out, then you know. And, if you're going to confront the person, make sure that you feel safe when you do so. If this is anybody that in any way could lash out at you, or throw anything back on you, then make sure you want to do it in a public place or somewhere so that you're protected. But, definitely trust your instincts. If you feel like someone's cheating, then check it out. Check out their stories, you know. Don't be possessive and overly, you know, and give them a reason to blame you and throw it back on you. But, definitely check out their stories and follow up and make sure that they are doing what they say that they're doing, 'cause, they're probably not. This is Donna Barnes from New York City."
