"Hello, my name is Mark Blocker. In this segment we're going to cover how energy conservation saves you money. First off, let me briefly explain, everybody pays for energy in one form or another. And, if you use less energy, you're purchasing less energy, thus saving you money. Let me give you a couple examples. A good way of conserving electrical energy is by replacing your light bulbs with a new, more efficient style. For example, this is an incandescent bulb, and this is a CFC bulb. This CFC bulb lasts eight to ten times longer than the incandescent bulb and uses seventy five percent less energy. So for your electrical bill, for your lighting, would be seventy five percent less on a yearly basis than with an incandescent bulb. And this bulb lasts eight to ten times longer. That's a considerable saving in energy, and a savings in money. That's one example of how energy conservation can save you money."
