And you can get tested at any doctor's office, any clinic and also by the public health clinics run by cities, counties and other municipalities. Testing is confidential, although sometimes statistics are gathered that will be reported to Center for Disease Control. If you do have an STD and you go to any of these places to be tested, no one will be informed but you will be counseled on how to treat the STD and how to tell prospect, how to tell former partners and prospective partners about your condition.
