Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Dr. Carol Clark. I'm a sex therapist and licensed mental health counselor here in Miami, Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to know if you're a bisexual. And when we talk about bisexuality, we're talking about orientation towards one or another sex. And actually, most people are bisexual. There's only about four percent of the population on each end of the spectrum. Dr. Kinsey, back in the fifties, in his famous study discovered that most people in that 96 percent in between the two ends are bisexual. They either think about it, they do it, or they have had some kind of bisexual feelings at some time in their lives. Orientation is not always static. It can change over time, and it's very common for younger people to engage in some kind of bisexual thoughts, fantasies, or behaviors before deciding that they're truly oriented in one direction or the other. Other people may go through life wanting to go back and forth and experience people for who they are and love the person, not because of their sex. Once again, this is Dr. Carol Clark from Miami, Florida."
