"Hi I'm Dr. Carol Clark, I'm a sex therapist and licensed mental health counselor here in Miami, FL. In this clip we're going to talk about how many known STD's there are. And there's probably more than we can even count, but the main one's are: first the bacterial diseases which include; Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, and various vaginal infections; Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. Then there are the viral infections which include; HIV, HPV; which is the Human PapillomaVirus; otherwise known as Genital Warts, Herpes Simplex 1, Herpes Simplex 2, and the Hepatitis viruses. Other STD's include lice, pubic lice, and various yeast infections, bacterial yeast infections of the vagina. So these may or may not be able to be treated or cured, but we can certainly treat the symptoms and they're all preventable. This is Dr. Carol Clark from Miami, FL."
