Hi, I'm Ben from the Cellphone Broker in San Jose, California and today I'm going to show you how to compare Blackberry models. There's a lot of Blackberry models out there right now. As far as I know, on Sprint, there's three different models. On some other carriers, they have up to four different models, four or five different models. The first one I'm going to show you is the Blackberry 7200 series. This one has a track ball on the side. It does not have any sort of navigation keys on the face of the phone. The only thing on the face of the phone is the keyboard. So this one does have a full keyboard. It does not have a camera. It does not have any sort of memory card reader. So it's pretty limited in what you can do. This one was basically created to handle phone calls, send text messages and send and receive email. That's pretty much it. You can't get any third party applications for this type. And most of the companies out there right now don't even have this device anymore. This is the Blackberry Pearl or also known as the Blackberry E100 series. This one has a camera in the back, a 1.3 megapixel and the newer model starting with 8120 series, 8130 and what's coming out next is the 8140. The next ones will have a two megapixel camera. This one right now has a 1.3 megapixel camera. It doesn't really make too much of a difference. This one has a track ball in the middle for navigation. It does not have that track wheel on the side anymore. It's all in the middle. The only thing that I don't like about this phone is that the screen is a little bit small. That's because this is the smallest blackberry that they've ever made. It's got a very narrow form factor so it's easy to put in your pocket. The keyboard has two letters per button instead of having a full keyboard. So it is a little bit more difficult to text with or send emails with. So it's pretty cool device, pretty easy to use. A lot of teenagers like this one because it does a lot and it'll have their email and a lot of other stuff when they're on the go. This is the most popular Blackberry device. This is the Blackberry 8300 series, also known as the Blackberry Curve. This one has a two megapixel camera with video camera so you can take pictures and shoot movies with this one. It also has a memory card slot so you can put up to eight gigabytes of memory, which is pretty much equivalent to an iPod. One gigabyte is about a thousand songs so this would hold about 8,000 songs if you get the right memory card. This also has the full keyboard and the track ball in the middle, track ball for navigation. The full keyboard does not have the sure type feature like the Blackberry Pearl does, but you don't really need it because with this keyboard you can type pretty fast. This is a pretty neat device. This is what I use. I really like it and it's really popular right now. So those are Blackberries. I'm Ben from the Cellphone Broker in San Jose, California.
