Hi, my name is Charlotte Skiles, I'm a Nutrition Consultant and Clinical Herbalist with Eat in Peace Wellness Consulting located in Austin Texas. Right now, I'm going to speak to you about the pros and cons of the Nutrisystem diet. Now the Nutrisystem diet is, well it is a service, everything is done for you. So the pro, I would feel that there's not much you have to do. You order your food, you eat it, you follow the specific guidelines, and it's very structured. So if you're the kind of person that needs that, then that would definitely be a positive side to Nutrisystem. The con is that it's not really teaching or facilitating change in a person's life because everything is done for you, nor is it good quality food in my opinion. If something can be frozen and shipped and stored a long time, it typically doesn't have the vitality that we're looking for, for healthy food. So those would be my two, my pro would be the ease at which it occurs, you just don't have to do anything and you can just follow their plan and eat their food. The con there is that it's just not empowering you to make positive long term changes in your life, so sustainability would be an issue as well as the quality of the food.
