Hi, I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com. I'm going to talk about how to write a personal journal. I really thing journal writing is a great thing to do for all writers, and really for everyone. It's a way to process your thoughts, and some private time where you can reflect. So, find some time every day. Make it a time when you're alone, because this'll really help you to really focus and reflect. You can write in a notebook. I like to write in just a blank book with lines. You could also use something like a blog format, even if you want it to be personal, you don't have to give the site to anyone. But it might be....if you're accustomed to writing on your computer, it might be a way to organize your writings. Whatever the format, it really doesn't matter, but just find the time to do it on a daily basis, and try and keep that discipline so that you can keep it up. There's no right or wrong in a journal, so you can really write whatever you like. A lot of people write in first person, other people write it in more of a letter format. So, those are some ideas about how to write a personal journal.
