"Hi, I'm Erica Goggs in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I'm going to talk to you today about how to prevent a baby from getting a flat head. Usually, the flat head will be on the back of their head, and that stems from their laying on their back for too much time. So, be sure that you hold your baby a lot, play with them, and that you have them play on their tummy when they are old enough so they get their necks strengthened. Don't leave your baby in the crib too long. Be sure that you hold them, and that will reduce the reason for a flat head. Be sure to pass the baby around. If someone else wants to hold your baby, or if you're tired and you need a break from the baby, call someone and get some help. That way, you don't get too stressed out and want to just lay your baby down and not play with the baby. Just try to find some help if you need it, and be sure that you pick them up quite often when they need you, and play with them. Don't let them lay for long periods of time."
