"Hi, I'm Erica, and we are in Salt Lake City, Utah. And I'm going to talk to you about the ingredients in commercial infant baby formula. There are several different types of baby formula. There are milk-based, there is soy-based. If your baby is lactose intolerant, you would use a soy-based milk. I actually have a milk-based infant formula can that I have right here. And there's several different types. There's DHA and ARA that you would like to have in it. There are some that don't have it. Make sure that a formula has iron and all of that. As you can see here, there's protein and fat and carbohydrates and all these vitamins -- vitamin A, D, E, and K -- and all these other ones down here. There's also folic acid, which is really good for the development of your baby. Just be sure to try breast milk first before you do use infant formula, but if there's a problem and you can't breastfeed, definitely get...find a formula that's good for your baby that doesn't give your baby lots of gas or anything. There's also formulas that are good for babies that have colic and have gas. So just be sure to find out what your baby needs, and if you have any questions, ask your physician."
