Hi, I'm Erica. I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah, and we're going to talk about how to wash spandex. The first thing you need to do is check the tag and see if it needs to be washed a special way, a delicate way. Ours just says, "hand wash cold with mild soap," so that's what we're going to do. Usually, you need to wash it in cold or warm water, but usually cold would be better. Better off just because it's cold -- it shouldn't do anything to the spandex. Go ahead and throw it in the washer, put your detergent in as normal, and just wash it as normal unless it calls for a more delicate way of washing. You could also hand wash it, but you can just throw it in the washer. After that, you can take it out and put it in the dryer. Put it on the low heat setting and just let it dry normally. You can lay it flat to dry if you want, but just putting it in the dryer, it should be fine.
