"Hi I'm Erica. I'm in Salt Lake City Utah and I want to talk to you today about how to wash a cloth diaper. What you need to do first is you need to throw away any of this solid waste that is in the diaper first and flush it down the toilet. After you do that you can soak the diaper if you are not going to be washing it right away. You can soak the diaper in a pail with half water and a fourth cup of vinegar or Borax and that will help remove the stains if there are any from the cloth diaper before you wash it. So you can soak it for as long as you need if you are putting more in for a bigger load or when you are waiting to wash it. After you let them soak you'll need to wash them in your washer so you'll need to put it in your washer, turn the washer to hot. You will need to wash these diapers on hot water to remove any smells and stains that are in there and then do a rinse cycle twice just to make sure that everything is out of the diaper, it's going to be going on your baby. After that you will take it out of the washer and put it in the dryer, put it on the hottest setting on the dryer also and that will get rid of any stains and get rid of any smells that you would have in the diaper. And then after it is done in the dryer you can fold it up and it will be ready for use."
