"Hi, I'm Erica. We are in South Lake City, Utah and I'm going to talk to you today about how to wash a tie-dye shirt. The first thing you're going to need to do is check the label on the inside of the shirt and see if it needs to be washed in warm or cold water. Usually most tie-dyed shirts can be washed in either warm or cold, it really doesn't matter. But be sure to check the back, the tag on your shirt first. After you check to see if your shirt can be washed in a warm or cold water, then you'll need to check for stains. If you have any stains you can use a spray, a spray stain removal. Make sure that the spray and the laundry soap does not have any bleach in it 'cause that can damage the colors on your tie-dye shirt. After that you can put your tie-dye shirt in the washer and then put the detergent in after; make sure there's no bleach in it and then after some washing through its wash cycle, you can take it out. Do not put it in the dryer. Either hang it to dry on the hanger or lay it flat to dry."
