"Hi my name is Brooke Kramer and I am the financial aid officer at Argosy University in Salt Lake City and today I'm going to answer for you where do you get student loans where you don't need a cosigner. There are actually a lot of federal loans available to students that where you don't even need a cosigner and it doesn't even check your credit score. And those are called the Federal Stafford Loans. If you want to apply for these loans, you're going to have to first complete a free application for federal student aid and you can do this by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov. You will need your most current tax returns in order to complete this and once you complete it, a university will know what you qualify in Stafford loans.
