Hi my name is Brooke Kramer and I am the financial aid officer for Argosy University in Salt Lake City and I'm going to let you know what EFC codes are. What EFC is it stands for Expected Family Contribution and when you complete your free application for federal student aid which all students normally do in order to receive federal aid, is they will give you what's called the EFC number. And what this is going to tell you is what the expected family contribution is. So what you or your family is expected to contribute towards your education. If you don't have these funds available, you can get additional student loans. This is usually a code that schools use to find out what you are eligible for in students loans as well in grants. If you have any other questions, please feel free to check out our website at www.argosy.edu.
