Hi my name is Brooke Kramer and I am a financial aid officer at Argosy University in Salt Lake City and I am going to let you know how you can receive financial aid if you are a music student and the first thing you are going to want to do is first complete the free application for federal student aid that you can find on the website www.fafsa.ed.gov and this will pretty much start the ball rolling for you to receive student loans and also to qualify you for grants which are free aid money that you don't have to pay back as well as you are also going to want to do a scholarship search for specifically music students and this will really help you narrow down the scholarships that are available to you as a music student. You will also want to provide information regarding yourself. Most scholarships require essays. You might want to start writing essays specifically for music scholarships so when you start applying for scholarships it is a lot easier. If you have any other questions please feel free to check out our website at www.argosy.edu.
