Hi my name is Brooke Kramer and I'm the financial aid officer at Argosy University. Today we are going to talk about whether or not financial aid covers off campus housing and yes, it does technically. When you take out student loans and other financial aid part of that cost is used to set aside for your living expenses which can include part of rent and housing. Now it is important though that when especially you are starting your career in college that your loan and financial aid is limited so a very small percentage of this is actually going to go towards your living expenses. So you are going to definitely want to make plans to actually set aside funds for yourself so when you do start living you can pay for most of that out of your own pocket not based on financial aid or pal grants or student loans because most of those funds are going to be going towards your tuitions and fees. If you have any other questions please feel free to check out our website at www.argosy.edu.
