Hi, my name is Brooke Kramer, and I'm a financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City, and today I'm going to tell you how to apply for student loans on the web, and the very first application you're going to want to complete is called the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. You can find this at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This application is meant for federal loans. Once you complete it, you will be notified by your school about the awards that you qualify for. Now before you start the application, you will want to have your most recent tax returns, as well as your parents' most recent tax returns if you are a dependent student. You can also apply for student loans at salliemae.com. SallieMae is a private lending institution where you can apply for alternative loans in addition to your federal Stafford loans. If you have any other questions, please feel free to check out our website at www.argosy.edu.
