Federal student loans are loans that the government actually provides for the students in order to help them through their schooling. Including for undergraduates schooling, graduate schooling as well as doctoral schooling. Now what you're going to want to do to see if you can qualify for federal loans is complete the free application for federal student aid. You can do this by visiting the website www.fasa.ed.gov. You will need your most recent tax forms to complete the application, as well as your parents if you are a dependent student.
