The purpose is to help students find funding to go to school. And this is usually for the under graduate programs, graduate programs, doctoral programs. As well as health care professionals. You can find out, what types of financial aid is available. By going to the Department Of Education website. Where they have a listing of all types of aid available to students. But there are four common ones available to you. Those are student loans, student scholarships, grants. As well as work study. You can see, what types of aids you qualify for. By going to the Fafsa website where you will complete the free application for Federal Student Aid. This application is required to find out, what you would be awarded for, in Federal loans.
