"Hi my name is Brooke Kramer and I am a financial aid officer at Argosy University and today I'm going to answer for you what are the qualifications for financial aid. And this is actually a pretty broad question. This very much depends on what type of aid you are trying to be qualified for. The first thing to do though is to complete your free application for federal student aid. This will list most of the qualifications that are necessary in order for you to qualify for federal aid and also state aid. If you are applying for scholarships, again the criteria is going to change based on what type of scholarship you are applying for. So I definitely recommend you visit the department of education website where they can give you more of an idea of what qualifications are required for the federal government as well as visiting your own university's website to see what qualifications and scholarships are available for you.
