Hi my name is Brooke Kramer and I am a financial aid officer at Argosy University in Salt Lake City. Today we are going to talk about how to apply for financial aid. And there are a number of steps in doing this but the very first thing you're going to want to do is complete the free application for federal student aid. You can find this application at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You will need copies of your most recent tax return from the prior year as well as contacting your university or school. Most schools do require additional forms that need to be completed along with the FAFSA in order to determine your financial need and what you qualify in financial aid. Along with that you can also check out your university's scholarships as well as doing a scholarship search online.
