Hi, my name is Shawn Jones as your Professor here in Argosy University. Today we're discussing the topic of MAS 90 Accounting and what that is. MAS 90 Accounting is, is an Accounting software package of or ERP System which stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. Enterprise Resource Planning is more than just simply handling the accounting functions that go on within the business or organization. It also helps you with other manufacturing processes, distribution processes, keeping track of your employees or any other part of your system that needs to take place including marketing functions and also sales functions. It's trying to be out, to take all of the processes that go on within your company and being able to put them on one system rather than various departments of having their own system that they use. Other ERP Systems that you might be more familiar with might be Great Plains or if you are a smaller business, some might even use Quick Books to be able to handle these functions that go on within a given organization.
