"Wanna know how to plan a backyard wedding? I'm Rachelle Saenz here to tell you how. When it comes time to planning your backyard wedding, first, take and inventory everything that you already have in place be it tables, chairs, landscaping, what's going to be there during the time of year when you get married? When it comes time to plan your backyard wedding, think a little bit about the landscaping. Talk to your gardener, or plant some of the flowers yourself. Keep the back drop stunning. Also think about what time the year is it going to be? Will it be chilly or will it be hot? You might need to bring in some extra elements to make sure that your guests are comfortable. Space is a premium when it comes to a backyard wedding. And you want to make sure that you keep the general rule of thumb, four feet for each guest. So when you plan out your space, make sure the cocktail area, everyone will be comfortable in standing. In the sitting area, be it cocktail sit down or maybe just a sit down dinner, you still want to allow for adequate space and to give a comfortable feel. You can still do beautiful design in your backyard. Again, take a look around and see what you already have. Maybe you have a pergola already up. Let's dress it and set the scene, or some really interesting umbrellas. Up-light the things that you have. Anything can be fun and there's no holds barred when you're doing your backyard wedding.
