Hi. I'm Tim Gipson and I'm going to talk to you about how to remove mold from vinyl siding. Now what we want to use we want to use a bleach solution. So any household bleach will work fine. Now if we're going to be putting this on directly using a bucket and say a mop or a brush all we want to do is create a solution of one part bleach to four parts water. Now if you have a pressure washer you can just go ahead and put the bleach right into the dispenser and the pressure washer as its applying it will go ahead and dilute it. There's not really any danger of using it full strength but its works better and works fine if you actually dilute it. Now once we have our bleach in this case we'll demonstrate using a pressure washer. Once we have the bleach in there then what we want to do is we want to use a low pressure tip so it will allow the bleach to be applied. So we'll put this low pressure tip in and then when we're actually applying it what we're going to do is we want to work from the lower areas and we want to work up and then we want to rinse. When we're rinsing we'll use the water tips and we will rinse from the top down. And if you have some areas that are really heavy in mold and mildew then you can go ahead and you can use the brush to scrub those areas once you have applied the cleaning solution. And then you can come back and you can rinse after that. We'll go ahead and put the tip in for the sudsing and we'll go ahead and apply the sudsing and do a really thorough spraying again working from the bottom up. Scrubbing those areas then coming back and changing our tip out to a water spray. And one thing as you're spraying your siding and you're working on this you want to make sure that there are seams in the vinyl siding so you don't want to spray up into the vinyl siding, you don't want to spray into the seams. So once you do that you should be able to get rid of all the mold and mildew from your siding. So I'm Tim Gipson and that's how to clean mildew from your vinyl siding.
