Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to get rid of mildew. First, if you have mildew like on tile, or on your bathtub or something like that, the best thing to do is just spray it with an all purpose cleaner. Everyone has a favorite cleaner that they like to use in the bathroom. I like to use green products, I think they work well and you don't have to wash them off, you don't have to, you know, wipe it clean after you spray it on cause it's not going to leave a film and it's non-toxic so it's harmless to your pets and your children. You want to scrub it with a sponge, and if you have some mildew that's being more stubborn and it won't come off as easily, you want to put some, possibly spray some vinegar on it and let it sit there and then spray it again with all purpose cleaner, scrub it again. Mildew will come off and once it's gone, you want to spray that area with, if you get, you know, just a water bottle and put maybe a tablespoon of bleach in it, spray the bleach water where the mildew was and it will kill any of the remaining mildew bacteria and keep it from growing back. Areas where your, you know, mildew's really common, you want to spray them about once a week with that bleach water, just to keep it from growing back. I am Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you get rid of mildew.
