"Hi, I'm Stephanie from stephanieknaturals.com. And I'm going to tell you when perfume was first discovered. We have records of Ancient Egyptians using perfume. It was mostly still a luxury for the very, very rich, but particularly, royalty would have perfumes made. They weren't the same perfumes that we imagine that...that we have today. They would be perfumed balms -- perfumed ungents, as they called them -- or oils that were infused with herbs and resins and flowers to make some wonderful smells to perfume their bodies. And so we have those records of Ancient Egyptians wearing perfumes."
