"This is John Pinelli, Financial representative, talking to you today about accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Accidental death and dismemberment provides you or your family a benefit in case of an accidental death or dismemberment. This would include things such as auto accidents. Dismemberments could include things like losing a finger, losing an arm, losing a leg. Those sort of things that would lead to a permanent disability. These insurance can, insurance policies can be purchased in addition to, or to supplement life insurance policies or disability policies, but typically they don't involve things like a suicide, naturally caused illnesses, terminal illnesses, things of that nature which are not accidental, thus the name accidental death and dismemberment. So, this has been John Pinelli, financial representative, talking to you today about accidental death and dismemberment insurance."
