"Hi, my name is Reka Morvay. I'm a psychologist, and I'm going to talk to you today, about how to ask a guy out for a school dance. If you're friends with a guy, and you would like to invite them to the school dance, then perhaps your best bet, if neither of you have dates, is to just be casual about it, and see if they would be interested, in going to the school dance. If you would like to give it something more of a feel of an occasion, then you might think of some elaborate way to invite this guy, try to do something romantic. The danger in that, is you might go overboard, and you might actually tend to frighten off the guy, instead of getting him more excited about attending the school dance with you, so overall, I think the best strategy would be to just invite this person in a really casual way, when you're just hanging out and talking about the upcoming dance. This way, you can actually find out whether he is at all interested in going with anyone, not just you, and once the topic comes up, you can just casually mention maybe, that you don't have anyone to go with either, and see if he picks up on that hint, and asks you himself."
