The most common thing that can cause itchy skin on the back of the neck is a contact dermatitis, which is basically like an allergy. Maybe you switched laundry detergents or you used a different type of soap than you normally use. That's all something that can cause a contact dermatitis, which is basically an itchy allergic reaction. Another thing that can cause itchy skin on the back of the neck is basically maybe an insect bite or something in that nature. Dry skin can cause some itchiness. Psoriasis or eczema is something that can really cause some dry, itchy skin on the back of the neck. A really good thing to treat dry, itchy skin on the back of the neck is an exfoliating dry treatment gel. This is actually a dermatologist-developed dry skin gel that actually helps to exfoliate and calm and soothe any irritation. It has a lot of soothing botanicals in it, and it's also going to hydrate.
