"Hi, I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ultra Salon and Cosmetics and I'm going to tell you how you can get rid or reduce the look of scars on the lip. Easiest thing that you can do is to get an exfoliating lip balm, something that's either glycolic, lactic or malic acid base. Basically what's that going to do is it's going to penetrate deeper down into the layers of skin and it's going to bring damaged skin cells to the surface. So it's going to exfoliate any dead, damaged, old skin off and help to produce new health skin. So it's going to help to basically smooth the texture and the look of that scar. It's going to help even any discoloration and it's also going to give you a reduced appearance of that scar. So, something like that, this is just a gel; it's a hydrating gel, so we'll just put a little bit above her lips since she has a scar above her lip. You could just go in and treat it with this as many times a day as you needed and if you are just using exfoliating product, you can follow up with a lip balm 'cause moisture is very important to in helping to soften that skin and reduce the appearance of your scar on your lip. So these are some tips on how you can reduce the appearance or get rid of scars on your lip."
