"Hey. I'm DJ Jazz B, and I'm going to give you a couple helpful tips for DJs. One thing, you're going to want a really diverse song list. You want to cover lots of different genres, because you want to have everything that everybody's going to request. Another thing you're going to need is a MySpace page or a website to refer people to for managers and owners of bars and different venues, so that you can actually refer people to some music that you've mixed together and stuff like that. You're also going to need a really great demo. So you'll want to record yourself mixing a great mix for the venue that you're at. You always need to keep that in mind. And another thing: you can't just, you know, push play on a; as a DJ, you're going to need to, there's a lot that goes into it using the tempos, the different music. You want to mix songs together so that the vibe and the pace of the music continues throughout the evening, so people are dancing and it doesn't what we call a train wreck and stop.
