"Hey. My name is Brian Medeiros and today I'm going to explain a little bit about the tambourine and how it's played. Tambourine is a percussion instrument used in every, just about every live music setting. You see them in church, you see the bands playing them. It's a great accent over the top of lots of different kinds of music. Basically it's made up of these little cymbals. There's a whole bunch of them on tambourines. There's lots of different kinds of tambourines. This is called a stick tambourine and it's played by shaking it and you can also get it to make an accent by slapping it against your hand or you can slap it against your leg if you're singing at the same time. Basically I'll just demonstrate how it's played for you. Just shake it back and forth. And you accent it using your hand or your side or whatever you can beat it on, really anything. So it's just like that. Pretty easy to play the tambourine and that's how the tambourine is played."
