"Hi, this is Sammi at the Utah Animal Care Center in West Bountiful, Utah. We have Brody here, the English bulldog, to help demonstrate how to care and groom for an English bulldog. The first thing that you'll want to make sure is that they get bathed often. The goal of an English bulldog is to make sure that their coat is clean and fresh smelling, with no shedding hair. You'll also want to make sure when bathing them, that you make sure that all of their wrinkles get completely dry. You want to make sure that you wipe out in between all of the wrinkles daily, with a soft cloth or a cotton ball. When brushing them out you'll want to use a deshedding tool such as the Furminator, and brush them out, making sure that you get their neck, and down their back, as that is where most of the shedding occurs. You'll want to make sure that the toenails are as short as possible. The back nails keep pretty trimmed on their own, since they use them as a natural push off. You'll also want to make sure to clean out their ears regularly, as they are sustainable to dirty ears. If you'd like to contact us, please go to utahanimalcare.com."
