Video Transcript

"Hi this is Sammi at the Animal Care Center in West Bountiful. We're here today talking about do it yourself grooming tables. You can purchase professional grooming tables online. They come in many different styles or variations. You can also make your own at home, just get a sturdy table that's strong enough to support the dog's weight and it also needs a tie down on it so the dog won't fall off. Make sure that it has a non-slippery surface and put it in an area of the house that is easy to clean up so you can just sweep the hair away. Make sure to never leave your dog unattended on the table. Make sure that there are no distractions in the room so the dog stays focused. Start off slow, just 5 minutes at a time and work up to a full groom so your dog gets used to sitting on the table.
