"Hello, I'm Dr. Deborah Wheeler. I am the vice president of academic affairs at the Salt Lake City campus of Argosy University. I'm also a clinical psychologist and today's topic is on how to make and washing fun for your children. One of the first things you can do is to pick a song that you sing each time that they wash their hands. Right now it's kind of popular to sing happy birthday while you wash your hands and that's simply because the time you take to wash your hands is about the length of time the children should be washing their hands. So pick a song about that length and make sure they wash for that long. Next you might to pick something that's fun just for the child. Maybe they get their own special soap or towels or something that makes it a pleasant experience. Most children love water play. You can't go wrong if you give them some toys in a basin full of water and let them play and splash and have a good time while they're washing their hands. Of course you're trying to teach good lessons of hygiene but it can fun in the meantime as well. Have fun with that. If you'd like more information on any of the ways to help children, contact argosy.edu."
