Hi friends, I'm Mark Govan here with ABC Pest Control and you know, people wonder does Talstar, and that's a chemical, will that kill fleas? Well Talstar is a name brand so when you go hunting at the store and you want to find a good flea control product, you have to look for what we call the active ingredient in Talstar. And the active ingredient in Talstar is called bifenthrin. Now bifenthrin is a great product for flea control on the outside of the house and what you do is if you have a lot of fleas or pets, what you do is you go outside, you can mix it up in a pump up one gallon sprayer, you mix it up to the labeled instructions and you go outside and you can spray Talstar or bifenthrin over all your plants, you can spray it right on the grass, you can even use it to spray up and down the house a little bit in the moist areas where the pets tend to run. Now remember if you have a large dog and he has a favorite place where he likes to run in the yard, you want to treat those areas as well with the Talstar and you won't have any problems. If you're worried about spraying it on your plants, don't be because Talstar is very, very safe to use on plants too. So Talstar will work for you and if you go the store and buy it today, you will help get rid of your home from fleas. Just remember, make sure you vacuum your home as well and take care of your pets because you never treat your pets with any other chemical. I'm Mark Govan with ABC Pest Control in Largo, Florida hoping you have a pest free day.
