Tuxedos always have French cuff shirts with them, but a lot of shirts today, casual shirts today, and even semi-casual, or dress shirts, have French cuffs as well, so to wear a French cuff shirt, there's generally a really big cuff, if you unfold it, and it looks like this, so to put cuff links in, you fold the cuff down like that, and you take the cuff link so it's straight, and stick it through all four holes. That's your cuff link, and your hand would go through there. How to wear cuff links."
