"Finding a flattering mens' Winter coat all depends on what the occasion you are going to be wearing it for. If it is going to be dressy coat that is one type of Winter coat, if it is going to be leather, that is a different type. If you are wearing it more casually like with a pair of jeans then that is a different coat as well. So I'll show you the different types of flattering coats for the different occasions. So for a dressy coat you want to find something that can obviously fit over a suit jacket. You want it to be close to your chest but not tight and obviously long enough to cover the suit jacket. Sleeves generally always need to be altered if you are buying a jacket, if you are investing in a jacket that is going to last you a long time but you do want it to cover your suit. Now a flattering weather jacket generally should be about waste length maybe a little bit longer. It should fit you in the shoulders and again most mens' jacket sleeves should be tailored and should hit you anywhere between the top of your hand and your first knuckle. A good jeans and T-shirt type of jacket is going to be a little bit longer to cover your bum to keep you nice and warm again kind of close to the chest but not tight, enough room for a sweater and the sleeves again can be altered. That's how you find a flattering Winter jacket."
