"Turtleneck knot is use in place of an ascot. It's not quite as puffy as the ascot becomes. It's a little bit more finished and again it's used instead of wearing a regular tie. To tie a turtleneck knot, you start with the basic square silk pocket square or handkerchief. You want to fold it in half so it becomes a triangle. Put it around the neck and tie a regular knot. Tuck that behind. This gets tuck in and you just start to shape however you feel comfortable with the handkerchief looking. The corner gets tuck into your shirt though. That's your turtleneck knot."
