So if you want to obtain a liquor license, there are a few things you want to consider. You have to be three hundred feet from a school or a church, fifty percent of the neighborhood has to agree to allow you to open up an establishment. In regards to that you need to choose the location properly. A residential area would not be a very good idea to open up a bar, so you would look for a commercial, or a business zoned area to eliminate any problems of that nature. So the next thing you do is you have to obtain your licenses, you state license, your city license. You have apply for a your liquor license, which apart from applying it takes a minimum of sixty days. Once you obtain your liquor license you have to make sure that you get it renewed, never let it expire, and keep everything up to code.
