"If you want to become an alcohol promoter, here's a couple of things to think about. You...one key thing you want to focus on is the promotional materials -- that would be your banners, neon signs -- that's a...that's a good one -- beer koozies, ball caps. Another idea would be to get in contact with your local alcohol distributor and ask about co-op advertising, which simply means they'll pay for a portion of your advertising if you put their logo on, like, let's say, a commercial or a newspaper ad or a magazine. So if you have a bar or a restaurant that you're trying to promote, a couple ideas would be if you're promoting wine, you can have a free wine tasting. If you're promoting a certain new liquor on the market, you can have free shots. You can have a two-for-one special on beers. And giveaways are always a good promotional tool because, hey, everybody likes free stuff. So those are just a couple ideas in how to become an alcohol promoter."
