Cats have been domesticated pets for centuries, providing companionship to people as far back as 9,500 years ago. "Hello, my name is Carole Wilbourn. I'm the cat therapist here in New York City. In this clip, we're going to talk about abnormal cat behavior. If suddenly your cat is attacking you, or his companion, or not using the litter box. Perhaps on a hunger strike, being very destructive, or hiding. These are all signs of abnormal cat behavior. Now, the abnormal cat behavior may be a result of sickness, perhaps your cat doesn't feel well. Or, it could be anxiety. Your cat is upset about something. Something that you did, someone else did, maybe something to do with his companion. Or, just something in the atmosphere. But, when your cats behavior is deviant, when it's not usual cat behavior, there's a problem. The abnormal cat behavior is a sign to let you know that your cat is not feeling well. So, please help when there's abnormal cat behavior. And once again, this is Carole Wilbourn, the cat therapist in New York City."
